NC State has recently been designated as the National Center for Academic Excellence for Information Assurance (IA) Education - Research (CAE-R). This center will coordinate the campus wide educational and research activities on information assurance technologies. It will also serve as a central place to dessiminate the IA education and research accomplishments from the college of engineering along with that of other NC State colleges.
